The Department of Public Health Dentistry at Buddha Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital commemorated World Health Day 2026 on 7th April under the theme “Together For Health, Stand With Science,” where third-year undergraduate students performed an engaging role play highlighting the importance of evidence-based healthcare and collective responsibility in promoting overall well-being.
An outreach program was conducted at Ahaan International Play School, KBM Road, Patna City, focusing on general and oral health awareness. Interactive sessions highlighted hand hygiene, balanced nutrition, and proper oral care, along with demonstrations of correct tooth brushing techniques. The program emphasized the idea that a unified effort among healthcare professionals, educators, and the community is essential for achieving sustainable health outcomes.
The initiative reinforced the significance of preventive healthcare, early habit formation, and community participation, successfully promoting healthy practices among children, teachers, and caregivers in alignment with the vision of World Health Day.
