The special position the institute has come to achieve in the academic and medical world as well as the unique feature it has developed in the recent years have resulted from the unwavering commitment of the institute. These commitments which parameter all institute activities can best be represented as being four major pillars upon which rest the edifice of pedagogy of dentistry education and development that define BIDSH.
Our endeavor has been to develop an ideal institution devoted to dental education which will blend clinical practices with sound theoretical principles and that will advance the evolution environment in India and one that will, in a small measure, give inputs to the under-privileged and under managed sectors of the society.
What we are aiming at is a state of the art dentistry institute that will not only produce highly competent medico-manpower, who get a historic, dentistry education and are able to cope with multi-disciplinary situations, but also to build the future with Action and Vision, which should essentially suit the Indian ethos and realities.
